LINGUISTICS STUDENT INDONESIA PROFILE

Linguistics Student Indonesia Founded in April 2015, Linguistics Student Indonesia starts as a personal blog and continues its journey and has expanded its wings to several platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, Anchor, Facebook, ResearchGate, and LinkedIn. Linguistics Student Indonesia is currently non-profit and represents its founder's personal brand. The idea of creating Linguistics Student Indonesia emanates when Suci Wulan Lestary as a Founder of this blog encounters a lot of difficulties in learning Linguistics as her specialty in college. So, she started to build Linguistics Student Indonesia while hopes that this platform could help to spread her values as a passionate individual who is attracted to linguistics as she took Indonesian Linguistics specialty as her major in college. Besides linguistics, she would also love to share her meaningful life experience. That's why the tagline: makes little things matter by learning through experience. *** Current Interest

2021: LET'S GO FAR & BEYOND!

Reading Estimation: 2 minutes, 12 seconds.

So far, my 2021 run smoothly. I hope yours too! There are a lot of good things that happen this year. I've become a completely different person nowadays. It takes a lot of long-tiring nights before I finally get here. I am so grateful for those who support me along the way. Thanks for being patient with me! You guys are precious! πŸ™

This post is a life update, and what I'm trying to say is working in the creative area has never been easy. I am in the progress of preparing my online shop while writing and self-publishing an e-book. I need to put myself in brainstorming activity and work in full concentration mode every single day. The biggest challenge in this pandemic situation is to keep up your mood because once you have a bad mood, it will exude through what you create. When writing block attacked, I choose to workout, play a song on my guitar, cooking my favorite foods, or walk in nature.

Starting last month, I learned much about digital marketing from some digital experts on Twitter. In my perspective, Twitter is one of the underrated online platforms to learn. It offers us ideas, knowledge, and information novelty in a fast way. If you know how to use it properly, you will be surprised by how much you encounter tons of humble-great thinkers and practitioners who share their experience and free knowledge with the world. That's what I cherished when I decided to run back to Twitter & start to be more active there last year. One thing I realize is now I have become more confident. All the incredible fellows I followed on Twitter transformed my perspective about happiness and life. Twitter also helped me fostering a connection with others.

At the end of January, I reunited with my best homies! It feels great to see them again after a long time. Shout out to Hamal, El, Ade, Tri! You guys rock! Anyway, I'm glad that finally,  we took a decent picture after spending time together in so many years without having one, lol. πŸ’™

Today is the fourth day of February, it's raining outside, and I feel excited about the plan I made. I hope things go well so I could reach my short-term goal in the next two months.

Another thing I want to tell you, I usually read faster, but this year, I aimed to read more books at a slower speed. I'm into slow-reading now because it is advantageous. Slow-reading makes me absorb more knowledge, comprehend it, and I could easily recall the information once I need it again in the future. I am currently reading David Kadavy, Simon Sinek, and Adam Grant books. I have no idea exactly how is it started, but my interest in books is shifting. Since the end of last year, I really into business, marketing, and psychology books. It is so different from what I've read many years before. I used to read fiction avidly, but now I'm reading tons of non-fiction books in the range of topics I previously mentioned.

How about you?
Tell me your stories below!
Last but not least, let's go far and beyond this year! I know we can do it! 😁

I highly appreciate your visit to the Linguistics Student Indonesia website.
